The Maxillectomy Forums are OPEN!

I have met some lovely people through this site, sadly those who have been touched by Cancer, those who have had a Maxillectomy and those who care for others.

The one thing that it has done for me is to know that I am not alone, I am not the only one that this has happened to and there are many out there who have made it through it and live, in most cases, undefined from their illness.

I want everyone to share in that experience and the best way I can think of is to create a Forum for us all to meet, chat, ask each other questions and truly know that there are many survivors of these awful cancers and other problems that cause us to have radical mouth and face surgery. It's also a place for carers, family and friends to chat, ask questions and meet others.

So, today I proudly announce the launch of the Maxillectomy forums - you can visit them by going to or by using the forum link at the top of the page.

Some areas of the forum are private to registered members only, so please register and of course only participate if you want or need to. You can remain anonymous if you wish.

I look forward to meeting you there and I hope it will become a useful place for everyone!

PLEASE NOTE: the forum is new, so there are only a couple of posts from me in there at the moment, don't let it stop you from using it, it will take time to get going and the only way it can is by your contribution, thanks!
